Vinho Verde, it is all about Alvarinho! This fantastic wine from the Portuguese region of Vinho Verde is a great pleasure to drink, fruity, citrus and a little bit sparkling. Very fresh in the summer and together with seafood it is a absolutely wonderful wine. It also a wine to enjoy if you want to sit down with friends and just take a glas or two. Vinho Verde, is also well known as the "green wine" and that has nothing to do with it´s color. It means that it is a young wine and you should also often drink it young. The producer Quintas de Malgaco is a small producer from the north west of Portugal, and is actually the first Portuguese company certified by NP EN ISO 22000: 2005 (Food Safety Management). They are also the first wine company of the Melgaco county certified by NP EN ISO 9001: 2000 (Quality Management) Enjoy!
