This wines comes from the region of Bairrada about 200 km north of Lisbon is very well known for their Baga grape. It is a grape that makes tough red wines with much tannins. This great rosé wine is made of 60% Baga grape and 40% Touriga Nacional that they have pressed very gentle, this make a great blend. It is called blush because it is so light colored, try it with fish, seafood or just sit at outside and enjoy a good glas of wine. QMF, Quinta Mata Fidalga is a very old wine company, soon 90 years. If you have the possibility to visit in the future we can recommend! Very nice place and they also well known in Portugal to make some of the best sparkling wines in the country.
